Treat different people differently

Treat different people differently.

One way to practice is
to expect to receive
completely unexpected
and sometimes downright offensive feedback
on the work I deliver.

It is narcissistic to assume
that everyone would feel
and act the way I do.

It is then a pleasant surprise
to delight someone.
While it should not surprise me
to find out that someone else was upset.

Different people think and act differently.

Seeing and responding accordingly
takes practice and patience.
