Listing products in Amazon?
If you’re selling products in Amazon you’ll need to have:
- Products photographed with pure white background
- Photographed in different angles and showing options (without any direct contact information shown preferably)
- Product dimension reference or measurements shown in photos
- Optional lifestyle images showing your products in use.
I’ve helped several Perth local Amazon entrepreneurs with their listings. Have a look at the cases studies below and if you’d like to work with me get in touch.
If you’re interested in location product photography you’d want to check out my other product photography page with tips and advice on the styled location photo shoot.
What is your product?
This is usually what I’d ask first when I get contacted for product photo shoots. Are they glass bottles, jars, fabric, food or fine jewellery? The surface material and the type of products determine the complexity of work and the length of shooting time. That is because lighting and diffusion (aka light shaping) change depending on the reflectiveness of the product surface. Also, generally speaking, the smaller the product the harder it is to take photographs.
How much does it cost?
Contact me with your requirements so that I could provide you with a cost estimate. I find that clients tend to be conservative with their estimates and requirements. That’s why I present cases studies here so that you get some ideas as to what is possible and how long things take to shoot, process and deliver. The minimum studio use time applies so the starting cost is $395+GST.
If you’re running a large scale ecommerce business and you’re in need of large volume of products photographed a different pricing applies based on quantity.
